(Springfield, IL) — A number of lanes that have been closed for construction in Illinois will reopen for Memorial Day weekend. This is being done in order to minimize travel disruption. Non-emergency closures will be suspended from 3 p.m. this afternoon until to 11:59 p.m. Monday night.
