State Rep Wilhour says “DEI has failed students and Woke is dead”

State Representative Blaine Wilhour says the battle for the future of education in Illinois and across the country is underway.

Speaking recently on the Illinois House Floor, Wilhour said that President Trump signed the executive order banning DEI in schools.  But, that order does not carry with it the force of law and Wilhour says the State Board of Education has chosen to “defy” that order and “cling to an ideology that’s failing students.”

Wilhour says instead of focusing on excellence, they focus on equity where the government tries to artificially level the playing field.
