(Chicago, IL) — President Donald Trump is granting a full pardon to former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.
The pardon comes nearly five years after Trump commuted the former governor’s prison sentence. Blagojevich was released from federal custody in 2020 after serving eight years for federal corruption charges, including trying to sell Barack Obama’s old U.S. Senate seat.
