A food drive going on now would help Seniors in our area. And, your help is needed.
The deadline for the Souper Bowl of Caring approaches on February 10, they are facing a real challenge in getting the help needed from the community. There are food donation locations in multiple areas (FNB Community Bank locations in Vandalia and Ramsey, Cain’s Drug Store, and Rent-A-Center in Vandalia) where individuals can drop off non-perishable food items to help out with the food drive.
Meals on Wheels serves over 100 seniors in our community, providing vital nourishment to keep them healthy and well with warm meals during the winter months. So, the community is asked to give to help with the food drive for the Fayette County Senior Citizens Center and CEFS’ Meals on Wheels and Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
