We are looking at snow around the area today, although the amount we end up with seems to be somewhat in dispute.
We are under a Winter Weather Advisory until 6 pm this evening. Our forecast from the National Weather Service for today calls for now with a high of 30. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
But, even that amount looks to not go along with other information from the National Weather Service. In their latest Weather Briefing, it shows snow for our area from 6 am this morning until 9 pm tonight. And, it shows we have a 99% chance of 1 inch of snow, an 89% chance of 2 inches of snow and just an 8% chance of 4 inches of snow.
Other weather outlets differ on the total, too. Accuweather.com shows just 1.5 inches of snow for our area today.
