As we head into what is considered the final summer holiday weekend, we take a look at gas prices around the area.
According to prices on www.gasbuddy.com—In Vandalia, the prices today range from $3.29 to $3.32 per gallon and that is mostly in line with other areas–other than some stations in Effingham. Effingham has gas ranging from $2.93 per gallon to $3.29 per gallon. That $2.93 per gallon is the cheapest gas in the state, according to GasBuddy.com.
As for other area communities, Pana gas prices range from $2.99 to $3.29, Greenville ranges from $3.31 to $3.39 and Salem ranges from $3.34 to $3.49 per gallon.
