City of Vandalia’s first Farmer’s Market just a few weeks away, 2nd Summerfest set for July 5th and 6th

The City of Vandalia’s first Farmer’s Market for the season is just a few weeks away.

At Monday’s Vandalia City Council meeting, City Administrator LaTisha Paslay says the first Farmer’s Market will be held on June 8th.  Paslay said they currently have 14 vendors for the first market with several pending and several of those confirmed to be new for this year.  The Farmer’s Market is held on 4th Street in front of Charter’s Patio in downtown Vandalia.

Meanwhile, Paslay also reminded that the 2nd Summerfest is coming up on July 5th and 6th at Vandalia Lake.  The annual fireworks display will be held on Saturday, July 6th.
