State Representative Blaine Wilhour is blasting an Election Bill and the way it was handled by Democrats.
On Wednesday, Senate Bill 2412 was gutted and replaced with language that would also place 3 non-binding referenda on the November 5th ballot. One of the referenda is over property taxes and Wilhour had a harsh response for anyone that thinks that is needed.
Another part of the bill would mean that political parties could no longer slate candidates for the General Assembly when a candidate did not run in the Primary. Wilhour says that just helps Democrats keep their supermajority.
The measure passed the House and Senate and now heads to the Governor.
