For today we have a chance of isolated showers and storms with a high of 75. And, a chance of isolated showers and storms with a low of 62.
The National Weather Service in St. Louis says a few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible today mainly across northern Missouri and west central Illinois. Large hail is the primary threat. There is a conditional threat of more significant severe thunderstorms on Monday into Monday evening. All severe weather hazards are possible including large hail,
damaging winds, and tornadoes.
For tomorrow, Scattered showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast for the with a high of 73. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says most of the region will be in a favorable environment for strong to severe thunderstorms on Monday with large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes possible. This threat is greatest late Monday afternoon
and evening, but is conditional on the development of moderate to strong instability. If more widespread clouds and rain develops on Monday then the severe weather threat will be
reduced.
