Fayette County Clerk Jessica Barker with an update to voters on Presidential Primary

In a decision made on Thursday, February 28, 2024, Cook County Circuit Judge Tracie Porter ruled on the status of Republican Primary Candidate Donald Trump for the upcoming March 19th Illinois Primary Ballot. However, it’s essential to note that this decision is currently pending review by the United States Supreme Court.

Rest assured, there are no immediate changes to the March 19, 2024, Primary Ballots. Donald Trump remains listed as a candidate on the Republican Party Primary Ballots.

If you’ve already cast your vote through In-Person Early Voting or Vote-By-Mail, no further action is required at this time.
