(Chicago, IL) — The state is providing more assistance to Chicago to improve the migrant response. Governor Pritzker announced an additional two-million-dollar investment to provide meals to asylum seekers through the end of the calendar year. The additional two-million-dollar state investment will be matched by the Greater Chicago Food Depository. The new funding comes as work is underway to develop sites for thousands of migrants in the city.
