The Fayette County Fair Board hosted a meet and greet reception on Sunday at the Fayette County Fairgrounds to introduce the newly appointed Miss Fayette County Fair Queen Josie Strauch. It has been a bit of a whirlwind for Strauch after being named the new queen just under two weeks ago. And looking back to her decision to run for the title this summer, Strauch said she really wanted to push herself out of her comfort zone and was eager to represent the county, the fair and everything she has been a part of for so many years.
One of the first things Strauch has been doing is getting to know her Jr. Miss Brylee Walton and Little Miss Caroline Durr. And Strauch says she is so excited to build relationships with the two.
Strauch, a student at Murray State University, will be making many trips back to Fayette County to represent the title at many upcoming events. And we will talk with Strauch more about that tomorrow on Newscenter.
