(Chicago, IL) — Brandon Johnson is set to become Chicago’s 57th Mayor. Johnson will officially become mayor during an inauguration ceremony today at Credit Union One Arena on the campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago. The ceremony will be followed by an open house at City Hall. The one-term Cook County commissioner is replacing Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who will be in attendance, as well as Governor Pritzker.
