We will be sunny and warm again today. We are looking at sunny skies today with a high of 77. Winds out of the south today at 5 to 13 miles per hour. And, then mostly clear skies for tonight with a low of 49.
Meanwhile, the National Weather Service in St. Louis warns of an elevated fire danger for today in the area. The NWS says elevated fire danger is likely this afternoon, mainly between 12 pm to 6 pm. The combination of low humidity, stronger winds and dry vegetation will support erratic fire behavior. The NWS warns to take extra caution if you plan to burn this afternoon.
