Vandalia Mayor re-elected to IML Board of Directors

Vandalia Mayor Rick Gottman will continue to serve on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Municipal League.

During their annual business meeting earlier this month in Chicago, the IML elected officers and members to its board.  Mayor Gottman will serve on the board as one of the six Past Presidents as Mayor Gottman was IML President for the 2020-21 term.  Mayor Gottman says the economic strength and vibrancy of our state relies on municipal officials throughout Illinois working in a united manner to advocate for policies that empower our communities.  And, Mayor Gottman says he is honored to continue to serve on behalf of Illinois’ 1,295 municipalities as we work toward a brighter future.

River Forest Village President Catherine M. Adduci will serve as President during this term.
