Governor J.B. Pritzker celebrated the end of the state’s mask mandate with a stop at Navy Pier in Chicago on Monday. Masks are no longer required in stores, bars, restaurants, daycares and schools. It’s a great feeling says Governor Pritzker.
During his visit, Governor Pritzker was asked about Friday’s Illinois Supreme Court action vacating a restraining order against the school mask rule.
Anyone who still wants to wear a mask to protect themselves should go ahead and do so says the Governor.
