(Carbondale, IL) — Southern Illinois University Carbondale is getting national recognition for being wheelchair friendly. The university was include on the Top 20 Wheelchair Friendly Colleges created by New Mobility Program. SIU’s culture of inclusion is also being praised for meeting rigorous standards. A survey by U.S. News and World Report ranked SIU as one of the Top 20 Wheelchair-Friendly Colleges.
