A Vandalia woman has been sentenced to time in the Illinois Department of Corrections. In information from the Fayette County State’s Attorney’s office, it says that 36 year old Rebecca A. D Angelo, after being voluntarily dismissed from Problem Solving Court, was sentenced to 2 years in the Illinois Department of corrections by Judge Kimberly Koester. The 2 years will be served consecutively with another case in which the defendant was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of Weapons by a Felon.
