>>U.S. Olympic Committee Recommends Postponing Tokyo Games
(Undated) — The United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee is recommending that the 2020 Tokyo Games be postponed. USOPC Chair Susanne Lyons and CEO Sarah Hirshland put out a joint statement Monday evening that the Games should be postponed until they can be conducted under safe and fair conditions. IOC member Dick Pound then stated early Monday that the Olympics would not start on July 24th and will be postponed, but the IOC refuted that in its own statement.

(Frisco, TX) — Dallas Cowboys center Travis Frederick is retiring from football at the age of 29. The Cowboys center announced his decision this afternoon on social media saying he can not perform at his highest level and his teammates deserve better. Frederick missed all of the 2018 season with Guillain-Barre [[ gee-YAHN buh-RAY ]] Syndrome, an autoimmune disease which affects the nervous system. He returned last season and made the Pro Bowl.

(Undated) — Charles Barkley is the latest big name celebrity to test negative for the coronavirus. The Naismith Hall of Famer announced ten days ago he had been tested after getting sick. He announced Monday that his results came back negative and thanked everyone for their support and concern. Barkley also encouraged people to take the necessary steps to ensure their safety.
>>L.A. Rams Reveal New Colors, Logo
(Thousand Oaks, CA) — The Los Angeles Rams are rebranding as they prepare to move into the brand new SoFi Stadium this fall. The Rams unveiled a new logo and new colors yesterday. The logo is Rams Royal blue and Sol yellow with the letters “LA”. The “A” swoops back to form a ram horn. Both the Rams and Chargers will begin play in SoFi Stadium in Inglewood this season.
>>Report: NBA Wants To Salvage Season
(Undated) — The NBA wants to find a way to resume the suspended season, no matter what. ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne reports that the general sense among owners and players is that they want to complete the season, even if it means stretching into the summer or fall. Shelburne added that no one wants to start a new season without finishing this one.
