~The St. Elmo Labor Day Weekend event will be from Saturday, September 5 to Monday, September 7. The 2015 parade theme is "Good Will Through Community Service".
Saturday, September 5
8:00 am - 5K Run/Walk
8:00 am - City Wide Garage Sales
8:00 am - Farmers Market (On Bank Lot Main and 4th Streets), Flea Market, Crafts, Food
4:00 pm - Pet Parade (line up at 6th Place by Bradford Supply)
6-9:00 am - Cruse in and dance with DJ (Main and 4th Streets) in case of rain High School
9:00 pm - Fireworks (at Tower Lake) Rain Date is Sunday at 9:00 pm
Sunday, September 6
6:00 pm - Gospel Band "Water to Wine" at St. Elmo Christian Church
Monday, September 7
6-9:00 am - Pancake breakfast at the firehouse.
9:00 am - Concession stands, flea markets, booths open, pony rides all day.
10:30 am - Parade begins. Line up at high school at 9 am
12-6:pm - Dunking booth and inflatables
12:30 pm - Parade winners will be announced at the corner of 5th and Main St
1- 5:00 pm - Bingo at the corner of 5th and Main St
5:00 pm - St. Elmo Lions Cake Walk
6:15 pm - Announcement of Citizen of the Year
6:30-9:30 pm - Straight Lace Band at 5th and Main St
8:00 pm - SEBA 50/50 Drawing
Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 - Need not be present to win
The parade is sponsored by the St. Elmo Lions club with proceeds going to their scholarship fund. Also Sponsored by St. Elmo Business Association.
