Weekend update for COVID-19 numbers for the State of Illinois–
On Saturday, there were 6,717 new confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19 announced by the Illinois Department of Public Health. There were also 100 additional deaths. There were 102,903 tests processed for a one day positivity rate of 6.5%.
On Sunday, there were 4,711 new confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19 announced by the IDPH. There were also 81 additional deaths. There were 77,775 tests processed for a one day positivity rate of 6.05%.
