State Rep Wilhour on Gov Pritzker’s comments about potentially closing prisons

Earlier this week, Governor J.B. Pritzker announced proposed budget cuts of 700 million dollars and also brought up the possibility of furlough days for state workers.  And, he also mentioned the possibility of closing prisons.  State Representative Blaine Wilhour says while it would seem to be mostly a scare tactic from the Governor, you also cannot completely dismiss the comment—although he says it really doesn’t make sense to fix the state’s budget issues.
