Grace Eleanor Hunt, 100 years old of St. Elmo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning November 11, 2015 at 12:35 AM at the Aperion Care St. Elmo where she made her residence for the past 15 years.
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday morning November 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the First United Methodist Church St. Elmo with the Rev. Dan Laack officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be conducted from 10:00 AM on Saturday until the time of services
at the First United Methodist Church, St. Elmo, Illinois
Burial Rites will be at the Griffith Cemetery, rural Brownstown following the funeral service.
Grace was born into the Christian family of Joseph and Frances Beck. She began her long life on
July 1, 1915 at the family farm in Ohlman, Illinois. Grace was a homemaker her in entire life and was a member of the First United Methodist Church as well as a long time Sunday school teacher. She was very proud of graduating from the 8th grade and wanted to continue her education however the family was not in the financial means to afford this request. She had married Ira Osmer Hunt on February 27, 1937 and he preceded her in death on October 13, 1983
Besides raising a family with her late husband in her later years she volunteered her assistance with families local home hospice work. Kull Funeral Home of St. Elmo is assisting the family with arrangements.

She is survived by her:
Daughter: Marilyn (husband, Jerry) Largin of Saline, Michigan
Step-Granddaughters: Delores (husband, Jerry) Mahon of Almo, Texas
Deanna (husband, Marion) Miller of Brownstown, Illinois
Step-Grandson: Don (wife, Donna) McNeely of Springfield, Illinois
6 Grandchildren, 3 Step Grand Children, Great and Great-Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her:
