(Riverton, IL) — A volunteer Riverton firefighter is accused of chasing his stepson with a hand saw. Justin Jacobs was arrested June 25th after officers responded to his home because of a disturbance. Jacobs was found in the yard holding a hand saw and a black metal chair. Jacob’s 19-year-old stepson was reportedly holding a baseball bat and they were yelling at each other. Jacobs faces charges of domestic battery, unlawful use of a weapon, aggravated assault, and resisting arrest.
