After 35 years in business, Culberton Heating and Cooling has new owners. At Monday night’s Vandalia City Council meeting, Mayor Rick Gottman announced that Tammy and Marlin Filer have purchased the business from Bob and Dan Culbertson. Marlin is the City’s Public Works Director, and Mayor Gottman confirmed Marlin is not leaving his position with the city and that Tammy would be handling the day to day part of the business. Dan Culbertson was at the meeting. He says Vandalia has been an excellent place to live and run their business.
