A new state task force will address concerns regarding the use of drones in Illinois. Drones are increasing in popularity, but there are currently no rules or laws regulating their use. A group made up of representatives from agriculture, law enforcement, business and transportation fields has been tasked with closely examining the issue. State Conservation Police Office Eric Rollins is a member.
Other topics to be discussed include drones interfering with commercial aviation and invading people’s privacy. The task force is to issue recommendation by July 1st.
