The Vandalia ONE program, that looks to benefit students and the community with different initiatives going forward, is ready to get rolling for the start of the new school year. Vandalia ONE had 3 short term goals and one of those is the Nourishing Greatness program, which is a program that looks to provide food for the weekend to 100 students. Vandalia Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jennifer Garrison says they are making progress on their goal.
The Nourishing Greatness program will office started after Labor Day. And, they are still looking to raise more fund and looking at local food drives to help out with the program, as well. We’ll talk about one of the other short term goals coming up tomorrow during NewsCenter.
