High School students will be learning more about handling sexual harassment in the workplace and on college campuses under a new law signed by Governor Bruce Rauner. State Representative Stephanie Kifowit sponsored the bill in the House and says students in her district suggested adding the topics to current Sex Ed curriculum. Schools will be able to incorporate the lessons however they see fit.
The law also requires instruction on what constitutes consent and what may be considered sexual harassment or assault.
