Hannah Blythe, competed at the IHSA state tennis finals on Thursday in the northern Chicago suburbs. She started off winning her first round match against Edwardsville’s Natalie Karibian 6-2, 7-6. She then faced the #4 seed in the tournament Asuka Kawai on her home courts at Palatine High School and was defeated 0-6 0-6. Hannah moved on to the consolation bracket, where the tired senior faced Tomi Jo Mansel of Lockport and lost 0-6 1-6, ending an unparalleled high school girls tennis career at Vandalia.
