The Illinois legislature is supposed to approve a new budget in less than one week. But, at this point, that seems unlikely to happen. And, the Republican candidate for the area’s State Representative seat says it’s time for the General Assembly to focus. Blaine Wilhour says it’s time for them to get down to work and get a balanced budget approved for the state.
Wilhour will face Democrat Dave Seiler in the November General Election, with the winner to replace John Cavaletto as the 107th District State Representative. We will hear more from Wilhour coming up next week during NewsCenter.
