(Raleigh, NC) — Brayden Schenn snapped a one-all tie with 9:19 remaining in the third period and the Blues clipped the Hurricanes 2-1 in Raleigh. Dmitrij Jaskin also found the back of the net in the winning effort. Carter Hutton stopped 26-of-27 shots sent his way for St. Louis. The Blues have won four-of-five to improve to 8-2-and-1 overall. Jeff Skinner scored the lone goal and Cam Ward made 32 saves in defeat. Carolina has lost three out of four home games this season and fell to 4-4-and-1.
