(Milwaukee, WI) — Carlos Martinez gave up three runs in the first inning and the Cardinals never recovered in a 3-2 loss to the Brewers at Miller Park. Yadier Molina and Tommy Pham had RBI singles in the fourth and fifth, respectively, but that’s as close as the Cardinals would get. Jimmy Nelson got the win for Milwaukee. Martinez dipped to 7-and-9 with the loss.
