Although there are many not happy about the tax increase, there are also a lot of groups around the state that are thankful the state finally has a full budget in place for the next year. Vandalia Superintendent of Schools Rich Well says this does take pressure off schools around the state, especially the schools around the state that didn’t have enough money to open up for the next school year without a budget in place.
