(Undated) — Illinois is receiving 16-million-dollars in federal grant money to fight the state’s opioid crisis. The Illinois Department of Human Services says the money will be used to strengthen statewide services and expand access to treatment and overdose prevention programs. Illinois has experienced an increase in drug overdose deaths in recent years.
