(Milwaukee, WI) — Mike Leake pitched six solid innings and also singled in the go-ahead runs in the fourth inning as the Cardinals beat the Brewers 6-4 at Miller Park. Kolten Wong went 2-for-2 with two walks and an RBI as St. Louis took the final three games in the four-game series. Leake got his third win.

(Cincinnati, OH) — The Cubs failed to sweep the Reds, losing the finale of their three-game series 7-5 in Cincinnati. Cincinnati pulled away with a four-run sixth as John Lackey fell to 1-and-3. Anthony Rizzo hit a two-run homer for Chicago, which is 10-and-8. The Cubs open a series in Pittsburgh tonight.
