After some spring time weather, we will get back into the winter weather very soon—and Friday night and Saturday looking to be our roughest time in terms of icy precipitation. On Friday there is a chance of snow, freezing rain and sleet during the day and then a chance of rain and freezing rain in the afternoon and evening as we’ll see a high of just 33 on Friday. Friday night, freezing rain is likely overnight with a low of 29. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says new ice accumulation overnight on Friday is expected to be less than 0.1 inch on Friday night. Freezing rain will remain likely into Saturday morning, but we will warm up and see a high of 35 on Saturday. The chance of some more freezing rain does come back into the forecast on Saturday night as we’ll dip back below freezing. We are looking at a high of 41 on Sunday.
