Three individuals entered guilty pleas in Fayette County Court, and will now serve time in the Department of Corrections.
26 year old Kayla Bissell of Effingham pled guilty to a felony count of retail theft. Bissell was sentenced by Judge Don Sheafor to 18 months in prison.
25 year old Andrew Geiger of St. Elmo pled guilty to a felony count of possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to two years in prison. The sentence will be served concurrent with another Fayette County case in which Geiger plead guilty to possession of methamphetamine and also received a two year sentence.
25 year old Kent Cripe of Vandalia pled guilty to a felony count of theft and was sentenced to two years in the Department of Corrections, with the sentence to be served concurrent with another Fayette County case in which Cripe pled guilty to a felony county of burglary. Cripe was sentenced to 42 months in prison on that charge.
