The hot weather will be back with us this weekend. But, there is some relief within sight at this time. We are looking at our “coolest” day of the week today with mostly sunny skies and a high of 87—that seems cool after two straight days of mid-90s temps and above 100 heat index readings. We’ll see mostly clear skies tonight with a low of 70 and then back above 90 on Saturday with a high of 91 and a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. We’ll have a better chance of showers and thunderstorms on Sunday and Sunday night, with a high Sunday of 91 and a low Sunday night of 72. Monday will again be over 90. But, after that, the forecast at least at this time shows a few days in a row with cooler temps, with highs just in the lower 80s.
