Brandon Moss laced an RBI single in the second for St. Louis, which has won the first two in the three-game set. Adam Wainwright pitched into the seventh to improve to 6-and-4. The Cardinals are second in the NL Central at 37-and-33, 10-and-a-half games behind first-place Chicago.
