A 24 year old Mulberry Grove man, who allegedly led police in Christian County on a high speed chase on Monday night before abandoning his vehicle and escaping, has been arrested and is being held in the Fayette County Jail. The individual is 24 year old Donald R. VanHoose of Mulberry Grove, who is being held in the Fayette County Jail on pending charges of resisting or obstructing a peace officer, aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude police, an outstanding Shelby County warrant and on an outstanding Department of Corrections warrant. Also being held in the Fayette County Jail is 73 year old Patsey L. VanHoose, who is being held on a pending charge of aiding or harboring a fugitive. In a story at www.taylorvilledailynews.com on Tuesday it says that at approximately 8:05 pm on Monday night the Christian County Sheriff’s Department received information form the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department of a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed of over 100 miles per hour. And, then report say he abandoned his vehicle and escaped on foot and the search then focused on neighboring communities.
