(Chicago, IL) — A federal judge has granted former U.S. House Speaker Dennis Hastert a second postponement of his sentencing in a hush money case. The decision to push back the sentencing to April 27 came yesterday after a second unannounced court hearing, but was only revealed today. Hastert pleaded guilty to trying to disguise bank withdrawals he made in order to pay off someone not to reveal a reported series of sexual relationships he had with students when he was a high school teacher and coach.
