(Chicago, IL) — Both Illinois governor candidates are making the rounds ahead of tomorrow’s general election. Appearing yesterday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” JB Pritzker said he’s confident Democrats can take over control of both the U.S. House and Senate from Republicans.
The governor didn’t confirm whether he plans to run for president in 2028, instead saying he will work to make sure a Democrat wins. Republican Darren Bailey met with supporters on Saturday in Chicago, where he plans to campaign further today.
