Vandalia Mayor talks more on false Data Center rumor, says he’s encouraged by the direction of the City

We talk more today with Vandalia Mayor Doug Knebel on a false data center rumor that came to light last week.  And, the fact he’s encouraged with the current direction of the city.

Last week, a social media rumor started about a data center coming to Vandalia.  Speaking on our podcast “Talking about Vandalia,” Mayor Doug Knebel made clear the rumor is not true.  He says there’s also just a lot of logical reasons why this wouldn’t be happening in the City of Vandalia.

One thing Mayor Knebel says does frustrate him is some of the negativity that can be read in comments heard from folks around the community.  He says hopes everyone can work together to be part of making the City of Vandalia a better place all the time.

We’ll hear more from Mayor Knebel coming up tomorrow.  You can also check out our full podcast on our website at www.vandaliaradio.com and under the Podcast tab.
