Altamont cross country sophomore Kelton Dunaway and freshman Reagan Winter extended their seasons for at least one more race after each turned in top 10 finishes in the Cumberland 1A Regional and qualified for this coming weekend’s Cumberland Sectional. In the girls race, Winter placed third with a time of 18:54.4 to earn the first individual (non-team qualifying) advancing spot. In the boys race, Dunaway placed ninth with a time of 16:53.4 to earn the second individual (non-team qualifying) advancing spot. Sophomore John Manley ran a time of 19:12.6 to come in 42nd place but did not earn an advancing spot. Dunaway and Winter will now run in the Cumberland 1A Sectional on Saturday, October 31 at Lake Land College.
