Vandalia Police Department says they are investigating the theft of a commercial air conditioning unit that occurred sometime in the past few days. Fayette County Crimewatchers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible. Anyone with specific information regarding the theft is asked to contact the Fayette County Crimewatchers at 618-283-1986. The callers may remain anonymous.
