Gov. J.B. Pritzker says he does not get to choose where the Chicago Bears will have a new stadium.
The governor spoke in Chicago on Thursday and was asked if there were any new potential stadium sites in the city.
The governor said stadium legislation now being discussed would give the Bears the option to choose between Arlington Heights or Chicago.
Bears officials said in August their sole focus is working on a stadium development in Indiana, but two months later, the team had yet to select a site there.
