We’ve already had the longest stretch between 90 degree days this year and that record could be extended–potentially today and then again on Columbus Day.
We are looking at sunny skies for today with a high of 88. Then, increasing clouds tonight with a low of 58.
Meanwhile, we will get a bit of a cool down for the weekend with highs in the upper 70’s on both Saturday and Sunday. But, we could see a high of 90 coming on Columbus Day on Monday.
The National Weather Service in St. Louis says near-record warmth (near 90) is expected through early next week. The exception may be Saturday and Sunday when clouds and potentially some rain from the remnants of Hurricane Isaias holds the temperature back a few degrees.
