Members of the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce were able to get an update on energy projects being worked on in the county. The first speaker on hand was Erica Glenn from Key Capture Energy and they are working on a battery energy storage project in the Ramsey area. She explained what the project is and says they have been working to get out and introduce themselves in the county. And that was expanded on by Chris Linsmayer of Key Capture Energy when talking to I70 Media as he further described what it is that they do with their battery energy storage projects and noted that they are not a data center.
And Linsmayer says their physical footprint with the Fayette County project would be relatively small.
With the effect on local resources being a concern with many types of projects coming into the county, Linsmayer also discussed what effect a battery energy center has and we will hear from Linsmayer about that tomorrow on Newscenter.
