(Wood River, IL) — Governor Pritzker is celebrating the construction of the new Hollywood River Studios in Wood River. Pritzker joined state officials to break ground on the Metro East’s new premier production facility.
The studio will house six state-of-the-art sound stages. Illinois’ film industry continues to grow at a record pace, with film production expenditures reaching a record-breaking high of 703-million-dollars last year.
