Heat Wave Continues today and for the remainder of the work week

The heat wave continues today and for the remainder of the work week.

We do have a chance of shower and thunderstorms early today and then again late in the afternoon, but we’ll otherwise see partly sunny skies today with a high of 93 and heat index readings up to 102 today.  Then, a chance of showers and storms tonight with a low of 74.

Meanwhile, the heat will stick with us for a bit.  We’ll see high temperatures in the mid 90’s on Thursday and into the lower to mid 90’s on both Friday and Saturday.  Some relief from the heat still looks to be at least a few days away.
